Hayden Panettiere, celebrated for her roles in popular television series and films, has passed away at the age of 36. Her representative confirmed the news, though the cause of her death has not been disclosed. Her father, Skip Panettiere, paid tribute to her, describing her as “an incredible light and a force of nature” who brought warmth and happiness to those around her.

Panettiere began her acting journey as a child, initially appearing in commercials before lending her voice to the character Dot in the animated film A Bug’s Life. Her early career saw her in films such as Remember the Titans and Tiger Cruise. However, it was her role as Claire Bennet in the television series Heroes that catapulted her to international stardom at the age of 17. The show, which aired from 2006 to 2010, became one of her most iconic roles.

In addition to Heroes, Panettiere captivated audiences with her portrayal of Juliette Barnes, a country music star, in the television series Nashville. Her performance in the series earned her two Golden Globe nominations, and several of the songs she recorded for the show made it onto the Billboard country music charts. She also made a mark in the horror genre, appearing as Kirby Reed in Scream 4 and reprising her role in the 2023 film Scream VI.

Beyond her on-screen achievements, Panettiere was open about her personal challenges, including her battles with addiction, recovery, and postpartum depression. She shared her experiences with the public and penned a memoir titled This Is Me: A Reckoning, which was released earlier this year.

Hayden Panettiere is survived by her parents and her daughter, Kaya Klitschko. Her legacy in the entertainment industry and her candor about personal struggles left a lasting impact on fans and colleagues alike.
